Loyola University Andalusia defines itself as a research-oriented university, a Doctoral Research University. Internationally renowned scientific research is, therefore, essential for our university community, assuming firmly that this will result, on the one hand, in excellent teaching, and on the other, in developments and innovations with a real social impact.
The research activity of Loyola University Andalusia is inspired in the principles of the intellectual apostolate of the Society of Jesus, where we are encouraged in the words of Father Adolfo Nicolás, Superior General of the Society of Jesus, to “open new horizons, desires and ideals” with humility and always trying to convert knowledge into “a solid instrument of service”.
This drives us even beyond achieving scientific production recognized in the most demanding international forums. With research, development, innovation and the transfer of knowledge, Loyola University Andalusia aims to collaborate in the creation of a humane, fair and respectful world.
