The Human Neuroscience Lab (LNH) of the Department of Psychology of Loyola University Andalusia is a transdisciplinary research unit with different lines of research. The main objective of the lab is the study of neural correlates of human behavior, whether healthy or pathological, individual or in groups, economic or social.
The application of electrophysiological techniques to the scientific study of perceptive processes, of attention or of human memory, can be of great use in various fields such as neurology, psychology, advertising, marketing, robotic and automated systems, etc. Techniques such as the electroencephalography or electrodermography have amply demonstrated their usefulness and reliability in various fields of application like psychology, neurology or marketing.
For this, what is of use is the collaboration of professionals in different areas of research, from engineering to psychology, and passing through communication, education, or marketing. Researchers affiliated with LNH use behavioral and physiological measures related to the psychological processes and phenomena under study. Currently, the lab has recording equipment for electrical activity in both the central and peripheral nervous systems as well as equipment for perceptive and cognitive stimulation with a behavioral activity log.
