| Abstract |
Conscientious objection is a quite modern figure, though there are precedents in history which could be considered as its culture medium. It must be situated in a context of exaltation of the autonomous Ego and the conflict of rights, which is derived from it at the interior of societies morally plural, with moral and personal maturity out in the open. Conflicts also have to do with the division of morality in two spheres of influence, private and public, irreconcilable or antagonistic. Within the field of sanitary activity, the revitalization of the professional ethics, in general, and the medical ethics, in particular, likewise the reformulation of the new objectives of medicine and the new understanding of health, are giving rise to the fact that the objection may incorporate nuances of extraordinary novelty.; La objeción de conciencia es una figura bastante moderna, aunque existen precedentes en la historia que serian su caldo de cultivo, que hay que situar en un contexto de exaltación del Yo autónomo y el conflicto de derechos que de ello se desprende al interior de sociedades moralmente plurales con madurez moral y personal a la intemperie. Los conflictos también tienen que ver con la escisión de la moral en dos esferas, privada y pública, irreconciliable o antagónica. Dentro del ámbito sanitario la revitalización de las éticas profesionales en general y la ética médica en particular, así como la reformulación de nuevos fines de la medicina y la comprensión de la salud, están dando lugar a que la objeción incorpore matices de extraordinaria novedad. |
