She holds a Ph.D. in Law, Government, and Public Policies from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). She has conducted pre-doctoral research stays at Maastricht University (Netherlands), Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Brussels), Sciences Po (Paris), and King’s College London, as well as post-doctoral research at the University of Victoria (Canada). She regularly presents her work at international conferences such as UACES, IPSA or EUSA and national political sciences conferences like AECPA. She is the co-coordinator of the AECPA permanent group "Plural Diplomacies". Her main research interests include the EU integration process and diplomacy, as well as the parliamentary diplomacy of the European Parliament. Her latest publications include “Revisiting liberal intergovernmentalism in CFSP: Preference Formation and the EEAS” in Contemporary Politics, 1–22. (2024); “Liberal Intergovernmentalism Under Revision: The EEAS and the Creation of a Supra-State Diplomatic Body” in The Hague Journal of Diplomacy (2024), “EuroLat’s failure to act as an international moral tribune over Venezuela: a critical analysis of its Co-Presidents Declarations (2014-2023)” (with Stelios Stavridis) in Revista Brasileira de Política Internacional, Vol. 67, nº 1: e014.
