Isabel Jurado Flores se licenció en Ingeniería Industrial en el área de Mecánica de Máquinas de la Universidad de Sevilla en 2007. Tiene un máster en Automática, Robótica y Telemática en 2009, y presentó su tesis doctoral en 2013 sobre Control de Sistemas de Redes de Comunicación, también en la Universidad de Sevilla, con calificación Sobresaliente Cum Laude. Ha realizado una estancia de investigación en la universidad de Newcastle (Australia), con el profesor Daniel Quevedo.Ha publicado 11 artículos en revistas indexadas JCR, 7 de ellas con Q1, 5 capítulos de libros y 21 artículos en congresos nacionales e internacionales. También ha participado en proyectos nacionales y europeos.Actualmente es profesora e investigadora en la Universidad Loyola Andalucía. Sus líneas de investigación incluyen sistemas de control a través de redes de comunicación, control robusto, control predictivo y sistemas distribuidos.En el área de gestión, ha coordinado el Grado en Ingeniería de Organización Industrial y el primer curso del mismo grado, además de ser tutora de alumnos. Actualmente coordina el Grado en Mecatrónica y Robótica.
