Abstract Policies for the development of the entrepreneurial culture from the UE favour entrepreneurship as a basic competence in the Spanish educational system. In the case of Andalusia, the EME program deals with the strengthening of entrepreneurship amongst students from the final years in Primary Education. To relate the results which are being obtained in the program in relation to the personal descriptors of entrepreneurship competence, we are doing extensive biographical research on participants in the EME program. The aim is to understand how their experiences in the EME program mould personal indicators of entrepreneurial identity. The research describes the personal indicators which are developed in the EME program and their relevance (C) 2014 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
