Abstract This article aims to demonstrate that one can understand the evangelization of the university as a discernment of rationalities. In point of fact, reason is one, but it has multiple voices which, expressed according to their own valencies, form what today we mean by "university". Every rationality, which claims to exalt itself as either superior to others or indeed unique, leads to a skewed approach to reality. On this account, one must discern continually and critically distinct rationalities. This discernment can also allow theology to enter into the university and to offer there its own particular light of knowledge. © 2018 Gregorianum. All rights reserved.
